St. Mary of the Assumption’s Mission Statement
We, the parishioners of St. Mary of the Assumption located in Waterford, New York, are a Eucharistic-Centered community who bear witness to our faith by the celebration of the sacraments, by our ministries and by our devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through our many ministries, we offer praise to God and by our Christian service, we offer support and comfort to those in need. We strongly support Catholic education through our parochial school and faith formation program. We strive to grow in our love of God and to be good stewards of our time, talents and resources.
Regular Weekly Mass Schedule
Saturday Vigil: 4:00 PM
Sunday at 8:00 AM & 10:00 AM
Tuesday & Thursday 8:30 a.m.
First Friday of every month~ St. Mary’s School mass at 11:00
Holy Days of Obligation~ To be announced
Reconciliation is available prior to the vigil mass on Saturdays from 3-3:30 pm or by appointment.
Daily Prayer
Church is open daily, Monday through Friday, for private prayer from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
First Saturday Devotions: 7:30 a.m.
All are welcome to join in the recitation of the Rosary, Mon. – Fri. at 7:30 a.m.
Stations of the Cross- Every Friday during Lent 7 pm
Liturgy of the Hours is prayed on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to bring a friend.

Liturgy of the Hours is prayed each Thursday. Check the parish bulletin for any exceptions (5/21 cancelled).
June 5th- First Friday liturgy at 11:00 am with school community
June 12th- St. Mary’s School Graduation in church
June 19th- 23rd Annual St. Mary’s School L. Scott Cuomo Memorial Golf Tournament. To register for golf, use the QR code below:
St. Mary’s Cemetery
Spring Clean up has begun.
Reminder: items/decorations may be affixed to a monument but may NOT be placed on the ground at the base of a monument. Such items impede groundskeeping and present a hazard to the crew maintaining the cemetery. If you have items around a monument and want them saved, please remove them promptly.
